Captatin Monkey was founded in 2009 by Esther Marie.

Esther was frustrated with what was available for boys, either all "logo" gear, very urban, or not recognizing the sophistacted minds and curiosity of boys today. She set out to create a new look, that was both classic and humorous. Bold enough for the boys to love but classy enough for the mom's to love too.

Now in our 6th season, we see a real turning point for Captain Monkey. All over the world the reaction has been very positive - so we have expanded into jeans and outerwear. We really think the Fall 2011 collection shows off Captain Monkey and we think all the boys will love it.
